Brief tutorial on how it works and what it can do. Hard to get my head around burning material and it not just going up in flames, but lasers - who needs scalpels or scissors anymore when you can get such detailed cutouts from a computer?
It's a bit like my previous experience with a CAM except this uses lasers. Coloured lines to send information to the cutter, different colours = different response. Scoreline, cutline, etc. Also a possibility is etching, which I didn't know of till this tutorial. Apparently this works better on acrylic:
